The Rt Hon David Cameron MP hosted a reception for Christian leaders at 10 Downing Street on Tuesday 3rd April to celebrate Easter. In his speech he gave there is much for Christians to celebrate.
Over 100 CCF members and guests attended Prayers for the Nation at the Chapel of St Mary Undercroft – the address was given by Josie Barlow, from Christians Against Poverty (CAP).
On Thursday 29th March over fifty people from across Nottingham attended the launch of the CCF group. The evening included music from a local jazz band and a school choir, as well as speeches by Colin Bloom and CCF trustee Jeremy Lefroy MP.

On Wednesday 14th March participants on the Under 35s Development Course gathered in Conservative Campaign Headquarters in Westminster to hear from Pastor Nims Obunge and Francis Davis speaking on: Social Action and Current Affairs; Why and how to get involved?
Over 150 CCF members and guests attended Prayers for the Nation at the Chapel of St Mary Undercroft – the address was given by Ben Cooley, CEO and founder of Hope for Justice, who opened with the words, “By praying in this historic place, we are making a spiritual statement.”
In an article in the Evening Standard Rt Hon Charles Clarke, Home Secretary 2004-06, defends the role of faith within communities from his view as an agnostic.
"This is a message I’ve delivered before. But today I will be taking the argument one step further. I will be arguing for Europe to become more confident and more comfortable in its Christianity. The point is this: the societies we live in, the cultures we have created, the values we hold and the things we fight for all stem from centuries of discussion, dissent and belief in Christianity.
"These values shine through our politics, our public life, our culture, our economics, our language and our architecture. And, as I will say today, you cannot and should not extract these Christian foundations from the evolution of our nations any more than you can or should erase the spires from our landscapes."
